Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this traditional Japanese ryokan was a delightful experience. The beautiful tatami-floored room provided a quiet and comfortable retreat, perfect for relaxation. The service was top-notch with caring and attentive staff, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The location in the heart of the historical Onsen town, close to the Snow Monkey Park, added charm and convenience to our stay. The dining experience, while good overall, had a slight letdown with the cold American breakfast. However, the overall value for the price paid was excellent.
I had a delightful stay at the hotel. The rooms were charming, sparkling clean, and very comfortable, making me feel very at ease. The service was top-notch, with the staff emailing me before my stay to arrange a pickup time from the station and guiding me through all the information about the ryokan over a cup of tea. The location was picturesque, especially in winter, surrounded by public onsens and close to attractions like the Jigokudani Yaen-Koen Park. The dining experience was traditional and filling. Overall, a great experience.
The hotel was a great choice for a traditional Ryokan experience. The room, though clean and tidy, lacked a separate sitting area with western chairs which could have added more comfort. The service was exceptional, with a caring and attentive staff that went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic, offering convenient pick-ups and drop-offs. The location, though amazing for exploring the town and public baths, was a bit far from the slopes. The dining experience, while simple, left some room for improvement in terms of filling up guests. Overall, a pleasant and authentic stay with a few minor room for enhancement.
The hotel offers a truly comfortable stay with a relaxing Traditional Japanese Ryokan atmosphere. The rooms are big, clean, and very quiet, preserving an excellent traditional feeling. The service is incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to assist guests. The location is amazing, especially for exploring the nearby attractions. The dining is authentic and worth experiencing. The facilities ensure a pleasant stay.
